Defibrillator training
SCQF level 5 Award in BLS and the safe use of AED
This course is an award in Basic Life Support and the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator. These are becoming more widely available in public spaces, and their usage by trained personnel significantly increases the chances for someone suffering a cardiac arrest. Learn how to recognise a cardiac arrest, and respond to it calmly and confidently.
They will also learn the safe usage of the defibrillator on our CPR mannequins, two of which are fitted with data recorders to help improve accuracy and timing of CPR administration.
